a third chapter was planned called "Wild Waters" or Microman 3, but it got scrapped after chapter 2 for some reason. it did got a seconed chapter "Savage Stones" (also known as Microman 2) which came out in 1999, but it's not the easiest game to find online i did finally found it but it took some digging. They even changed the "you will die!" line from the robots to "you will fall!" which sound more tame, but it’s a nitpick. in 2.0 registered version they changed the cheesy robotic voices for a deep booming echoey voice for everything inclusing the robots, the main character and for collecting items. Description: First released as a demo on Windows 3.1, MicroMan is a graphical action/adventure game originally intended to. the only differences is the 2.0 has better compatibility, it's supports both 16 and 32 bit, and runs smoothly, however they changed tue voices, in the 1.5 they have this more 1960/70's cheesy but memorable robotic voices and ones of the robots lines is "YOU WILL DIE!" and when you pick up an item a crowd of people saying out loud you what item you have picked up. i played this version 1.5 and 2.0 version. The game-play midi music added to version 1.5 and later of The Adventures Of MicroMan - Adventure 1: Crazy Computers appears to have been quite heavily influenced by the 1985 electro / hip-hop track Juice by The World Class Wreckin' Cru."The Adventures of Microman" is such a nostalgic little platformer, seen it on many compilations back in the day, this is the shareware version (only includes the first chapter "Crazy Computers" ver 1.5), this is not a DOS game but a Windows 3.1 title which means to get it to work you have to download Win 3.1 emulator (or running 3.1 through DOSBox), or VM running windows 95 (since it's supports DOS and WIN 3.1 games). On a related note, I eventually rewrote WAP from scratch for Windows 95 and DirectX, called it WAP32, and it's the engine we used for Claw, Get Medieval, and Gruntz! :) Music I still get emails from people asking for more MicroMan adventures. See the Torch and Toro fight side by-side with Bill Everetts Sub-Mariner as he once again terrorizes New York City Also featuring the adventures of Microman. The hero, Bob Jones, was shrunk to micron size as part of an experiment, and is now trapped in a computer full of unfriendly robots. When the six of us (the Monolith founding members) got together and created Monolith and The Monolith CD, one of the things we did was to create a special version of MicroMan with a rendered intro movie, pumped up sounds, and new music. The Adventures of MicroMan is a complete game built with Brian Goble's Windows Animation Package, based on an earlier playable demo called MicroMan. MicroMan is still faster when hes jumping than walking, and only one sound can be. This was a minor problem-I just called the game MicroMan. The microchips in the background are darker, and there are six new enemies. Alien Planet ran in 320x200 (in DOS) so when I brought the graphics over to Windows, the objects looked tiny in 640x480. I needed to create a demo game for my new engine so I stole some art from a DOS game I had been working on called Alien Planet. I decided to see what was possible, graphically, with Windows and proceeded to create "WAP" (Windows Animation Package) which was (as far as I know) one of the first 2D gaming engines (with flicker-free software sprites) created specifically for Windows. Back when Windows 3.0 had just come out, I had already written a nifty graphics engine for DOS and had made a few games with it that were published by SoftDisk.
